Established in Yeongok-ri of Jincheoneup, Manraesan Natural Ecological Park was designed to provide various opportunities to study nature, promote the conservation of nature and educate the public about the environment. It is 118,466m² (35,836 pyeong) in size. The construction of the park began in December 2006 and was completed in December 2008. Unlike urban-type parks, this is an ecological park where you can have a true ecological experience; the park has various facilities such as an ecological pond, a naturally grown arboretum, a botanical garden, a marsh garden, a fruit tree garden, a wild flowers garden/herbs garden, an education hall, an insect observation hall and a forest study hall.
Facilities Manraesan Natural Ecology Park is an experience-type natural ecology park. The Eco Pond, Natural Arboretum, Bee Plant Botanical Garden, Humidogene Grass Land Garden, Tree Garden with Fruits, Wildflower/Herb Garden, Ecology Education Center, Insect Observation Center, and Wood Learning Center differentiate it from other urban type parks.
