General Facts
As part of the integration of counties in compliance with Ministry order No. 111, Gacheok-ri and Dongju-ri of Juksan-gun in Gyeonggi-do were incorporated into Gwanghyewon-ri and Sirwon-ri of Manseung-myeon, Jincheon. Additionally, on March 9 of the same year, the previous 14 sub-counties (myeon) were consolidated into the 7 sub-counties of Jincheon, Deoksan, Chopyeong, Munbaek, Baekgok, Iwol and Manseung as part of the process of renaming myeons and changing boundaries.
